Description Position Summary Provides the set-up of various equipment and instruments (position equipment, specialty machines, OR tables) and various supplies needed for the case. Assists with surgical case and patient set up. Responsible for setting up and taking down surgical equipment. Reports equipment concerns to Biomedical Engineering and/or company. Work with Biomedical Engineering to ensure all equipment is updated with preventative maintenance, or equipment that is broken is removed from department. Familiarizes self to be proactive for future cases. Transport specimens according to protocol.
