>> HR Business Partner HR Business Partner Summary Title:HR Business Partner ID:2653 Location:Westerville, OH Company:Kokosing Inc Description The Business Partner will work closely with management and the front line to implement and improve our people programs. We are looking for an experienced Business Partner who will execute HR strategies and tactical initiatives that will assist Kokosing Construction in achieving their goals and objectives. The BP will also serve as a trusted advisor and consult with leaders within the business unit by providing guidance and support to create the best outcomes. The BP's primary responsibility will be to ensure the effective execution of team member strategies and enhance the performance for the business unit. Kokosing Construction is comprised of 300 salaried team members and 1,500 craft team members located throughout the Mid-West and Mid-Atlantic. Under the direction of the Vice President of Operations, with a dotted line to the Director of Team Member Strategy and Engagement, the BP will have the opportunity to make decisions and influence the success of the business unit. Additionally, the BP will serve as a liaison to the Team Member Resources group to ensure the delivery of services and support needed to implement the various projects and initiatives as determined in the annual operating plan. Duties and Responsibilities: Serve as a change agent by influencing key stakeholders in support of organizational effectiveness. Serve as an advisor to project leadership teams by providing insight, consultation, and support. Maintain knowledge of progressive HR practices, trends, and data points to drive enhancements. Support the organization with both strategic and tactical functions/actions. Extract and analyze data to inform leaders and drive business decisions that positively impact the workforce within the organization. Provide feedback to influence the continuous improvement of team member resources and processes. Calibrate on work with other Business Partners and Relations Specialists to maintain best practices and continuously improve. Monitor workforce productivity, retention and engagement for trends and changes that require intervention. Develop and lead programs that maximize employee development, engagement and retention. Manage compensation analysis and wage adjustments as needed. Support the development of Team Member education and growth-related strategies while ensuring effective implementation and execution. Provide performance management guidance to the leadership team and frontline leadership. Ensure coaching, feedback and performance systems are in place to maximize workforce performance and productivity. Lead succession planning processes & consult with managers on effective assignments and strategy, including skills gap analysis. Qualifications: Bachelors' degree in HR or business-related field. Minimum of 8+ years in an HR Manager, HR Generalist, or HRBP role with similar responsibilities as outlined above. Broad background in HR required. Demonstrated ability to execute both strategic and tactical initiatives for an organization. Experience in the construction industry is desired. Ability to travel throughout region to construction project sites to support team members and leaders within the company. (10%) Demonstrated ability to communicate and influence individuals and groups to gain buy-in and acceptance of new ideas and approaches. Proven ability to take initiative and build strong and productive personal relationships with Leaders and team members, displaying sound business acumen and knowledge in the HR field.
