Three Rivers provides psychiatric, detoxification/rehabilitation, and dual diagnosis treatment through inpatient services for adolescents and adults. Our outpatient services include a Partial Hospitalization Program offering psychiatric day treatment for adults and an Adult Chemical Dependency Intensive Outpatient Treatment Program offering day and evening sessions.

Three Rivers Behavioral Health is seeking a dynamic Per Diem, weekday Court Liaison who will be responsible for

• Obtainining commitment paperwork

• N otification of Emergency Admissions to the courts within 24 hours of admission• Appoints and notifies Designated Examiners. Establishes a time frame for the patient to be seen and reports to be completed and returned• Notifies courts of Designated Examiners' findings• Tracks, via log or similar method, court status of patients• Provides attending physician with the necessary documents associated with care of patients legally detained• Reviews daily census for admissions under commitment each morning• Consistently follows release-of-information protocols and regulations

Qualifications

Position Requirements:

  • High school diploma. Strongly Prefer Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred, but not required (e.g., Psychology or other behavioral science, Communications, Marketing).

  • One or more year of experience

  • Flexibility regarding hours and scheduled work.

  • Able to communicate, effectively, verbally and in writing

  • Familiarity with community resources preferred; effective time management and organizational skills

  • Basic grasp of psychiatric services and major diagnostic categories or patient populations

  • General familiarity with psychological, sociological, and medical terminologies;

  • Must be able to deal with aggressive, hostile, and irrational behavior of patients calmly and therapeutically.

  • Must be able to respond immediately to crisis situations concerning patients
