Job Description:

The Role: Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP)

The Opportunity:

MaineGeneral Health is seeking an HRBP to play a critical role in leading employee relations and change initiatives to foster an engaged workforce. Extensive skills in employee and leader development, engagement, and retention strategies change management, business processes and organizational design that impact the bottom line by reducing turnover and improvements in employee effectiveness.

The Work:

  • You work closely with leadership and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.

  • You provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line leadership (e.g., coaching and feedback, career development, and disciplinary actions).

  • You manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations.

  • You analyze trends and metrics in partnership with the HR team to develop solutions, programs and policies.

You Have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree (Master's Preferred) and 5-7+ years of professional experience doing strategic level HR work. SHRM or HRCI certification preferred.

  • Employee Relations experience (at all levels) across a large/complex organizational structure.

  • Experience with DEI and leadership development.

  • Experience managing change in a dynamic organizational environment.

  • Strategic analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to acquire a thorough understanding of the organization's hierarchy, jobs, qualifications, compensation practices, and the administrative practices related to those factors.

  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

  • A strong desire to work onsite with a robust HR team.
