POSITION SUMMARY:

The Regional Manager is responsible for the day to day operational performance of airport operations within an assigned region.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/TASKS

  • Responsible for oversight and coordination of assigned stations to ensure safe, reliable, efficient, and effective operational and financial performance.

  • Builds effective partnerships with internal departments, outside vendors, contractors, business partners, communities and other business entities and identifies new business opportunities.

  • Ensures appropriate staffing at assigned stations, promotes team building initiatives and performs coaching/mentoring activities to develop and motivate team members.

  • Ensures information is communicated in a clear, comprehensive manner.

  • Sets, measures and manages performance of self and others and leads team members in achieving/exceeding operational and financial objectives and goals.

  • Delegates responsibility and holds others accountable against operational performance criteria, and assists individuals with skills development to become a high performing contributor.

  • Ensures compliance with Company policies and rules and standards of all relevant regulatory agencies. Travels to assigned stations on a regular basis.

Qualifications

  • A four year degree in business, management or related fields or equivalent leadership experience (minimum 5 years in leadership positions) with specialized leadership training preferred. Should have strong organizational, presentation and computer skills, be resourceful and be able to communicate effectively using written and verbal methods.

  • Must be able to self-manage from both an operational and financial viewpoint.

  • Must be willing and able to travel. Frequent travel is required (60-70%), must be able and willing to work extended hours and be subject to "on-call" responses during off hours to accomplish tasks and goals.

  • Must have the ability to identify, evaluate and refine operational and financial results and manage to meet/exceed target performance.

  • Must be able to lead team members effectively, as well as coach and develop individuals toward meeting corporate and individual goals.
