Community Health Systems Pre Admissions Rep - Outpatient Therapy in TUCSON, Arizona

Description

This position is full time, based in Out-Patient therapy at Northwest Medical Center.

Summary:

Responsible for the pre-admission and prior authorization of all scheduled patient procedures done by Centralized and Surgery Scheduling departments.

Position Qualifications/Minimum Requirements

Education:

Required: High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience.

Experience:

Required: Two years registration experience with strong medical terminology in hospital setting, insurance and Meditech knowledge.

Skills:

Ability to read and write English fluently, personal computer skills, ability to maintain good customer relations, excellent problem solving and communication skills, assist in development of office procedures, able to prioritize, answer multiline telephones, compile statistics.

Licenses/Certifications:

None required.
