Minimum/Required Qualifications Bachelor\'s degree in youth development, volunteer development, education, family sciences, leadership, management, communications, or a closely related field. Degree must be completed by start date. Demonstrated experience teaching, designing and/or developing Extension or other non-credit educational programs. Demonstrated written and oral communication skills including the effective use of mass media. Demonstrable commitment to collaborative and respectful learning and working environments that are safe, inclusive, and welcoming. General knowledge and ability to use computers, including proficiency with word processing and data management programs. Ability to learn and use multiple forms of digital communication tools and systems, including websites, collaborative work platforms, email newsletters, and social media. Demonstrated ability to interact successfully with adult volunteers and manage volunteer programs, including volunteer recruitment, orientation, training, effective engagement, recognition, and evaluation. Demonstrated ability to work successfully with an advisory group or committee. Demonstrated ability to interact successfully with youth 5-19 years of age. Demonstrated ability to lead groups and to plan, organize, evaluate, manage, resolve conflicts and delegate details associated with program management. Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to work as a team member with other professionals. Ability to successfully engage with diverse populations in a culturally responsible manner. Ability to adapt to the changing technological environment.
