Job Description

Insight Global is hiring for a Sr. Systems Infrastructure Engineer for a large, re-insurance company. This Sr. Systems Infrastructure Engineer will be joining a team of 7 people that will be working closely with the development team on deployments. This Engineer will be working within an Agile fashion and be expected to be on call once every 7 weeks. On a day-to-day basis, this Engineer will be responsible for answering tickets, setting up new servers, solving performance issues, participating in routine- project work, and research (they are currently exploring Azure Monitoring:

monitoring solutions for collecting, analyzing, and responding to data from your cloud and on-premises environments. Other day-to-day tasks may include managing multiple projects at a time, break fixes, and prioritizing due dates of various projects and tickets.

Skills and Requirements

• 5+ years within Microsoft Azure System Engineering

    * 5+ years' operating within a Microsoft Environment (80% Windows, 20% Linux)

    * Strong experience within PowerShell scripting: automating certain tasks and scripts

    * Experience within Terraform: used to build out resources in Azure to automate/ create/ modify scripts

    * Ability to mentor and aid junior members on the team Experience with DevSecOps: practice of integrating security testing at every stage of the software development process null
