The Senior Principal Industrial Engineer, MES leads the assessment, optimization, and standardization of process (including business and physical processes) and batch records as part of the deployment of our Manufacturing Execution System (MES). This role, responsible for the Saint Joseph, MO site, is not only a technical leader of Digital Transformation, but culturally adept to collaborate and lead change in a global environment. The MES Engineer is also responsible to support and drive continuous improvement in our MES live sites, as well as the Americas MES Center of Excellence.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Implements, configures, and optimizes MES to support manufacturing operations and process improvements across the Saint Joseph, MO site.

  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, IT, and site leadership to ensure seamless integration of MES with existing systems and processes.

  • Analyzes manufacturing data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency, quality, and compliance.

  • Provides training and support to local project teams and end-users on MES functionality and process best practices.

  • Leads continuous improvement initiatives, utilizing Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and/or Theory of Constraints methodologies.

  • Manages stakeholder relationships and communication to ensure alignment and support for MES initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Industrial Technology, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field and experience is required.

  • Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and/or Theory of Constraints methodologies, and system implementations (i.e.: MES, ERP, etc.) is preferred.

  • Minimum of six (6) years of experience in industrial engineering, with a focus on manufacturing operations and process improvement.

  • Demonstrated experience with system implementation and optimization, including but not limited to Pas-X.

  • Experience in Organizational Change Management, with a focus on user adoption and process change.

  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and across cultures.

  • Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and other relevant industry regulations.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

  • Willingness and ability to travel approximately less than 10% of the time.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.

  • Must be willing to take a drug test and post-offer physical (if required).

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
