Avera is currently seeking a Psychology Associate looking to deliver the best possible care in Avera’s patient-focused settings.

Job Summary

The Psychology Associate is responsible to provide assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and crisis intervention of acute, chronic or moderately disturbed mentally ill clients under the supervision of a licensed psychologist. Provides clinical consultation services, community education services. Some travel may be required.

Education and/or Experience

• Doctoral degree (PhD. EDD or PsyD) in Psychology or equivalent required. MSW, LPC or LMFT with ability to bill for services is preferred.

  CERTIFICATION, LICENSURE, and/or REGISTRATIONS

• South Dakota Psychology License required within 18 months of employment.

  Work Schedule

• Monday - Friday (primarily days with possible evening/weekend involvement)
