Job Description

The Water team provides comprehensive delivery solutions for water, wastewater and wet weather systems, desalination, water resources, water reuse, and community infrastructure through traditional and alternative delivery services such as programme management and design-build. Candidates will be assigned to specific sub-functions based on their experience

Scope of Works / Sub-Teams:

• Storm Water

• Sewerage

• Water Treatment

Responsibilities:

• Review engineering design works, in particular on drainage/water supply/wastewater aspects

• Review technical assessments and report prepared by junior engineers

• Coordinate amongst project teams and clients to facilitate project implementation

• Supervise junior engineers in terms of work allocation, training, and problem resolution

• Participate and review in technical proposal preparation, prepare tender documents and tendering assistance

• Supervise junior engineers and provide guidance, technical advice in regular basis

Requirements:

• With 5-10 years of experience in design on drainage/water supply/wastewater aspects

• Prefer Degree holder in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering, candidates with Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering will also be considered

• Corporate member of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers in relevant disciplines or equivalent *

• Strong oral and writing abilities in both Chinese (Cantonese and / or Putonghua) and English

• Knowledgeable in using engineering modelling software

• Strong sense of leadership and accountability

• Results-oriented and client-focused

• Strong analytical skills, ability to identify problems and propose solutions

• Self-motivated with high personal drive for achieving targets and business goals

• Team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Proven experience in supervising junior engineers

• Candidate with more experience will be considered as Associate
