Please review the following job description:

Recommend and oversee enterprise-wide CRA strategic projects and activities to support the business unit’s objectives along with the Foundation and CSR/ESG on special large cross-functional projects, including strategic project management with the facilitation and implementation of strategies and initiatives. Activate the CRA culture and brand by unifying the teammate experience within, and outbound communication from, the CRA team. Utilizing various marketing tools internally and externally to build the brand and tell the CRA/Truist story in LMI geographies and the communities we serve.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Independently manage complex, cross-functional projects to drive strategic CRA efficiencies and support the bank’s overall CRA rating objectives.

  2. Lead cohesion of outreach efforts amongst CRA, Corporate Responsibility & Sustainability, and Truist Foundation to promote Truist community brand.

  3. Develop enterprise resources and tools, and oversee department deployment, to enhance Truist responsiveness to community needs and maximize Truist CRA story, in partnership with Corporate Communications.

  4. Oversee enterprise execution on Truist Community Engagement commitments, including development of clearly defined execution strategies, monitoring Business Unit progress and facilitating Community Advisory Board engagement.

  5. Provide senior project management support for CRA verticals, including exam management and technology enhancements. This includes the ability to demonstrate effective project management capabilities to drive successful implementation.

  6. Drive teammate culture and brand engagement by developing innovative leadership tools for the CRA SLT.

  7. Manage and implement significant projects that address strategies and initiatives in the CRA business unit in order to mitigate regulatory and reputational risk. Projects are aimed at accomplishing broad, long-term objectives such as enhancing process efficiencies through appropriate and automated technologies, and/or eliminating work flow redundancies to mitigate and improve organizational risk.

  8. Provide enterprise business change leadership for CRA department and others as appropriate.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field

  2. Ten years of job-related experience, including five years senior project or program management

  3. Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization, including Executive Leadership

  4. Strong verbal, analytical, process improvement and conceptual skills

  5. Ability to travel, occasionally overnight

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Master’s degree in business or related field or comparable experience.

  2. Project or process management designations or certifications (PMP).

  3. Ability to recognize needed changes and oversee necessary action plans to ensure compliance.
