CACI is looking for a strong Staff Accountant to join out Corporate Accounting function. This role will be based in Reston, VA and will allow for remote work and occasional office visits.
What You’ll Get to Do:
Responsible for the general financial accounting and reporting activities of the organization.
Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting activities, including:
Prepare and record journal entries
Prepare monthly account reconciliations
Ensure all internal and external financial reporting deadlines are met
Review, analyze and adjust journal entries when necessary
Assist with financial statement audit process
Assist with the accounting for leases in accordance with ASC 842
Collaborate with manager to ensure a complete and accurate month-end close
Maintain accurate process and procedures for all reports and tasks
Answer accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data
Monitor compliance with company policies and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and company procedures
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
3+ years of related Accounting experience
Knowledge of GAAP (General Accepted Accounting Principles), accounting principles, and industry best practices
Experience with using Deltek Costpoint
These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have:
Experience using Workday and Cognos reporting
Professional experience in a government contracting environment

$54,200 - $111,000
