Robert Half is seeking a passionate healthcare professional to support an admired clinic as an Insurance Verification Specialist! The ideal candidate will bring insurance verification experience, a strong understanding of medical administrative procedures, electronic medical records experience, and a commitment to accuracy and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility through various channels, including online portals, phone calls, and electronic systems.

• Accurately enter and maintain patient insurance information in our database.

• Communicate with patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies to resolve any insurance-related issues or discrepancies.

• Collaborate with billing and coding teams to ensure accurate and timely submission of claims.

• Stay up-to-date on changes in insurance policies, procedures, and regulations.

• Provide exceptional customer service to patients by addressing insurance-related inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.

  Requirements

• Previous experience in healthcare administration and insurance verification.

• Strong understanding of medical terminology, insurance plans, and billing processes.

• Proficiency in using computer systems and software, including Microsoft Office and electronic health records (EHR) systems.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with patients, colleagues, and insurance representatives.

• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and a positive attitude.
