The Fisheries Biologist II is a technical and skilled professional position, responsible for planning, organizing, and carrying out field and office work related to assessing the fisheries of the Flathead Reservation and identifying factors impacting those fisheries.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A Master's of Science degree in Fisheries Biology or related field. Professional certification, or eligibility for certification, by the American Fisheries Society. Experience in program planning and management. Experience with ground and surface water modeling tools in relation to instream flow protection for fisheries. Skill required in operation of electrofishing equipment and other standard fishery sampling and collection gear, in operation of boat motors, small gasoline engines and 4x4 vehicles.
