Insight Global Benefits Manager in Pasadena, California

Job Description

We are looking for a Benefits Manager for a Pharmaceutical company headquartered in Pasadena, CA. This person will work closely with employees and play a leading role in supporting the coordination of benefits, including onboarding and ongoing benefits management. They will also work with other team members on processing status change forms, recruiting, performance management, learning and development activities. They will be the sole Benefits Manager so they should be comfortable with running the entire benefits cycle.

Skills and Requirements

  • Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to use Microsoft products, including PowerPoint; experience with ADP and benefits databases.

-Experience using ADP

-Knowledge of all pertinent federal and state regulations, filing and compliance requirements, both adopted and pending, affecting employee benefits programs, including the ACA, ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, ADA, Section 125, workers' compensation, Medicare, OBRA, and Social Security and DOL requirements

-Knowledge of benefits contract language

-Ability to understand, evaluate and make judgment on proposals (RFPs)

-Bachelor's degree in human resource management or related field, and three to five years of related benefits or employee benefits administration experience -SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP and CEBS professional designations null
