Job Description

HII – Mission Technologies Corp., is looking for a qualified Windows Domain Systems Administrator - Information Technology Support - to support the WB program office located at Tinker AFB, Oklahoma.

As a valued member of our team, the Windows Administrator is responsible for the smooth running of Windows servers and systems, including implementing redundant capabilities of Exchange and Skype environments, improving the health and performance of the Exchange and Skype environments and performing Service Desk and other related systems administrative task.

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • The position involves installing, configuring, and maintaining Windows-based software, services, and hardware.

  • The administrator will backup, monitor, and troubleshoot Windows servers, ensuring high availability, reliability, and security.

  • Collaborate with other IT professionals to implement and maintain IT solutions, streamline processes and enhance services.

  • Manage and maintain Windows servers, workstations, and operating systems.

  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows-based software applications and services.

  • Monitor server and workstation performance and maintain system resources.

  • Ensure system security by implementing and maintaining security policies, firewalls, and antivirus software.

  • Perform regular backups and disaster recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and availability.

  • Create and manage user accounts, permissions, and groups.

  • Maintain documentation and records of system configurations, changes, and updates.

  • Provide technical support and training to users and staff on Windows-based systems and software.

  • Evaluate and recommend new hardware and software purchases to meet business needs and system requirements.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of five (5) years’ experience maintaining IT systems or a minimum of ten (10) years’ experience maintaining IT systems.

  • DoD 8570 Information Assurance Management Level II certification, or equivalent, and 4 years of classified information systems experience working on DoD ACAT I, ACAT II, or ACAT.

  • The position requires specialized experience and/or formal training in Microsoft Exchange (2016+) and Skype for Business 2019.

  • Understanding of Active Directory, group policy, and network protocols.

  • TS/SCI clearance
