QA Compliance Specialist

Mon - Fri, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM with occasional overtime as needed

Our client is looking for a solid QA Compliance Specialist to become an integral part of their team due to growth. This QA Compliance Specialist will communicate with suppliers to drive design and process improvements as well as responding to customer feedback.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Work with suppliers to establish and maintain audit schedules.

  • Execute on-site and virtual audits of suppliers and third-party manufacturers to assure compliance with global and ISO standards.

  • Provide clear and factual feedback to suppliers in the form of written reports including observations and assessment of corrective and preventive actions to remediate gaps.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer audits.

  • Conduct all audit activities including opening and closing meetings, establishment of agendas, and coordinating with auditing team members.

  • Utilize critical thinking for timely resolution of customer audit findings through accurate reporting, assessment, and information tracing to determine root cause of any failures.

  • Follow through on corrective actions, verification of effectiveness and timely closure of audit reports for both supplier and customer audits.

  • Prepare and submit required quality records and documentation for closure and filing.

  • Lend support and assistance to the Quality Manager with projects.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in quality or systems management; experience in the FDA industry is a plus.

  • Experience working with Google Suite is a plus.

  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, planning, and documentation skills.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Able to bring values and a sense of ownership to the position.

  • Ability to take direction as well as initiative.

  • Team work.
