MYERS CONTROLLED POWER, LLC Raceway Wireman in North Canton, Ohio

This position is based at our Myers Controlled Power factory in North Canton, Ohio.

Raceway Wireman - Install raceway system (conduit, wireway, cable tray) and install and terminate power or control wire between electrical equipment such as switchgear, relay panels, or junction boxes based on the NEC.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Read and interpret mechanical/electrical drawings and connection

wiring diagrams to determine material requirements and assembly instructions.

· Utilize small hand tools such as wire strippers, crimpers, wrenches, screwdrivers, and pliers.

· Label, lug, terminate and route control wire in a building.

· Operate portable power tools and ladders.

· Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)

  • 1-2 years of Raceway Wireman experience

  • Ability to read and understand documents written in standard English

  • Ability to read and interpret production drawings and work instructions

  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, verbal, or diagram form

  • Ability to solve problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations

  • Be safety and quality-oriented, accountable, dependable, reliable, productive, ethical, a strong communicator, innovative, a team player, and have a positive attitude
