We design, integrate, manufacture, install, and maintain this equipment for a diverse portfolio of end users in the Agro-Chem, Commercial, Critical Power, Government, Health Care, Industrial / Mining, Marine, Military, Multifamily Residential, Oil & Gas, Renewables, Rail / Transit, Utilities, and Water / Wastewater industries. This position is based at our Myers Controlled Power factory in North Canton, Ohio.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

· Obtaining information necessary to develop winning bid packages:

o Review Specifications -- determine job scope, special non-technical requirements.

o Evaluate requirements for engineering and production hours.

o Determine equipment delivery requirements -- consult management for facility capabilities and capacity.

o Detail equipment requirements and operation.

o Attentive review of terms and conditions, warranties, and retentions.

· Prepare the bid meeting material.

· Effectively communicate with the sales function to ensure sales team and management are aware of the

status of the bid and any needed information required to complete the bid package.

· Prepare bid package for customer submittal including developing technical exceptions.

· Negotiate bids and answer technical questions from sales team and customers.

· Develop order entry materials when order is received and interface as necessary until the work is turned over to engineering, operations, and contracts.

Qualifications:

· College degree in technical discipline or extensive industry experience.

· Preferred minimum of 1-2 years mechanical or electrical engineering experience.

· Must be proficient in understanding Power Distribution equipment.

· Must be able to read prints, develop one-lines and be able to explain the operation of the equipment.

· Must be well organized and able to operate under time pressures.

· Must also be creative to offer technical alternatives that may give MCP an advantage in obtaining the bid.
