Adjunct Positions are filled by semester on an as needed basis. Applicants in this applicant pool are reviewed when the department has an immediate need to fill a vacancy. Review of applications will then stop for the semester once the vacancy has been filled.

Employee functions as an adjunct instructor in the Aviation Maintenance Program, serving as the primary source of instruction in the classroom or workshop on a variety of aviation maintenance subjects to a diverse student population. Must be able to effectively communicate and demonstrate knowledge of the specific technical skills required in all areas of aviation maintenance, to include general aviation subjects, airframe subjects and powerplant subjects. The successful candidate will be able to adjust instructional technique as required by a student's learning style while maintaining a positive learning environment. Must have to the ability to collaborate with students and peers to establish a safe environment where safety is not compromised and discipline strictly enforced. Must be willing to teach various classes within the Aviation Maintenance program. Must have recent experience in aviation maintenance. This position requires in-person and evening availability

Regular on campus presence is expected for all LCC employment. Any flexible work schedules and/or hybrid work schedules approved by the College are subject to change based on the needs of the LCC community
