Position Overview:

The Plant Controller will play a crucial role in overseeing financial operations at our manufacturing facility. This position requires a hands-on individual with a strong background in accounting, financial analysis, and team collaboration. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience in the manufacturing industry, demonstrating proficiency in month-end close processes, financial statement preparation, data mining, and financial analysis. The Plant Controller will work closely with leaders and other teams to drive financial performance and support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage month-end close processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.

• Prepare financial statements and related analysis to provide insights into plant performance.

• Conduct data mining and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement financial strategies aligned with business objectives.

• Provide support to plant leadership by offering financial guidance and analysis for decision-making.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance financial processes and controls.

• Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

• Actively participate in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities.

• Utilize Syteline software (or similar ERP systems) to optimize financial operations (experience with Syteline is a plus).

• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and knowledge sharing among team members.

Manufacturing, Costing, Month End Close, Month-end Close Activities, Month-end Financial, Monthly Accruals, Balance Sheet Reviews, Balance Sheets, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, Monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliation, Consolidated Balance Sheet, Variance Analysis, Data Mining, Pivot Table, Ad Hoc Financial Analysis, Financial Analysis, Provide Financial Analysis, ADP - Payroll, SyteLine, Syteline ERPQualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.

• 7+ years of experience in accounting/finance roles within the manufacturing industry.

• Strong understanding of month-end close processes, financial statement preparation, and financial analysis.

• Proficiency in data mining techniques and advanced Excel skills.

• Experience with ERP systems, preferably Syteline, is highly desirable.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with leaders and cross-functional teams.

• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and integrity in financial reporting.

• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

• Results-driven mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
