DAL Global Services Baggage Sevice Agent (Part Time- PM shift) HNL AA in Honolulu, Hawaii
Under the supervision of lead agent and/or supervisor on duty, bag handler agents areresponsible for accurate and careful handling of customer baggage, including but not limited to sorting and stacking baggage on specified carts or conveyors to ensure baggage arrives at its proper destination.
Ensures proper conveyances are set up to sort and distribute customer bags.
Reads and verifies the city and flight number for every bag to ensure correct handling of customer bags.
Organizes and prioritizes baggage load for delivery to the proper aircraft for loading.
Ensures compliance with all TSA, DOT, FAA, OSHA and DGS safety rules, regulations, procedures and applicable laws.
Forwards and receives bags to/from TSA for processing.
Ensures appropriate attention paid to priority items.
Handles customer interaction in efficient, effective and professional manner.
Other duties as assigned.
Requires valid driver's license if position necessitates operating ground support equipment.
