salary: $55,000 - $70,000 per year

Responsibilities

Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential

duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be available.

 1. 10 years of paint experience.

 2. 5 years of leadership experience preferred.

 3. Understanding of paint defects (how to identify them and how did they occur)

 4. Housekeeping, shall be done every day, (sort, set in order, shine, standardize & SUSTAIN)

 Maintaining a clean

 5. SAFETY- always wearing proper PPE

 painters must wear respirators

 when drying parts use ear plugs

 6. PM requirements and an understanding of how to perform the PM work/how often

 7. How to hang parts correctly

 8. Quality- being able to identify a conforming/non-conforming part

 9. Understanding the dry-off process

 10. Items are washed correctly to ensure chemical mix is correct

 11. How to powder coat parts correctly

 12. How to wet paint parts correctly

 14. Understanding of how to plug parts when needed

 15. How to perform a MEK test (ensuring good paint adhesion)

 16. A clear understanding of how important quality is and how it affects the bottom line.

 17. A clear understanding of safety protocol and enforcing safety policy.

 18. Enforcing Company policy on breaks and lunch.

 19. Punctuality is a must.

 20. Positive attitude towards subordinates and upper management.

 21. Attention to detail is a must.

 22. Willing to work overtime to meet customer needs.

 23. Good math skills, reading and communication skills.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment

• wearing steel toe shoes

• working in a non-temperature controlled environment

• manual lifting up to 50lbs

• standing for 8 hours at one time
