Overview

SR. ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT (PACAF):

Bowhead is seeking a Sr. Administrative Assistant to join the Pacific Air Forces (PACAF) program located at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii.The Sr. Administrative Assistant role is to support to PACAF/A37 by applying skills in organization and administration to assist with a wide variety of office functions necessary to ensure smooth and efficient operations. The Sr. Administrative Assistant leverages their knowledge of organizational goals and PACAF’s mission to assist in meeting all A37 business operation’s needs.

Responsibilities

  • Duties cover a wide range of administrative tasks to include assisting contract personnel in coordinating travel, filing expense reports, ensuring security clearances and Common Access Cards (CACs) do not lapse, visit requests, assisting with in-processing and out-processing of contract and government employees, and overseeing daily communications and taskers within the office.

  • The AO may be required to travel occasionally and provide direct support for an exercise or event.

  • Orders generation and production support.

  • Website support.

Qualifications

  • Have at least three (3+) years of experience in military staff work. Wing-level or higher experience preferred.

  • Retired or former USAF officer or Senior NCO with bachelor's degree preferred.

  • Have strong communication and multitasking skills.

  • Have excellent organizational abilities and a self-starting personality.

  • Be able to work and lead in a team environment with demonstrated leadership and customer interface skills.

  • Be proficient and skilled in the most current version of Microsoft Office software.

  • Be familiar with and demonstrate the ability to use the USAF Task Management Tool (TMT).

  • Good analytical skills and be able to operate in a demanding environment while executing multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Active DoD Secret Security Clearance required. Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is preferred to support the full range of customer requirements.

  • Note: This position is contingent upon award of contract.

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds

  • Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time

  • Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must currently hold a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
