The Resort at Paws Up is seeking to add a HR Coordinator to our team. The HR Coordinator will perform administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the organization’s human resource department.

The Primary Functions are:

  • Works closely with international visa program participants and the multiple agencies that support the program. Continually works to expand program knowledge.

  • Provides support to international program participants with a wide variety of needs including a prearrival information call, airport pickups, onboarding, and orientation.

  • Responsible for international visa participants transportation logistics, including gathering needed documents, coordinating driver training, collaboration with the Fleet team to ensure company vehicles are maintained, and owning the scheduling of rides.

  • Performs periodic audits of files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.

  • Provides administrative support to the People & Culture Team as needed.

  • Responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly environment in the People & Culture Team office by sorting mail, tiding the reception desk, and cleaning as needed.

  • May assist with payroll functions including answering employee questions, collaborating with the Payroll Manager to fix processing errors, and distributing checks.

  • Assists with organizing and planning new hire orientation.

  • Distributes employee uniforms and nametags.

  • Assists with planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, organization-wide meetings, employee recognition events, holiday parties, and international team member cultural events.

  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date employee files, records, and documentation.

  • Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc. Refers more complex questions to appropriate senior-level People and Culture staff or management.

  • Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of People & Culture files and records.

  • Assists in training and supporting department interns as needed.

  • Participate in continuous improvement of processes.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

    Looking for Team Members with:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 Suite

  • Fluency in Spanish preferred but not required.

  • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn payroll management, human resource information system (ADP Workforce Now)

  • Valid State Driver’s License with good driving record

  • Prior related office experience preferred

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer

  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time
