Job Summary

Selected Student Workers will assist with office duties: filing, organizing program materials, making/scanning copies, creating documents and power points. Student workers will assist with presentations, chaperone college visits, and assist high school site visits, as needed. Student workers should be capable of working independently on projects and should have strong people skills, iniative, and be detail-oriented. Mentoring and tutoring skills are a plus for this position.

Required Qualification(s)

  • Must be a CLC student enrolled in a minimum of three (3) hours for the summer semester or six (6) hours for the fall semester

  • Attach an availability schedule with application

-Strong customer service and communication skills

-Ability to work effectively in a team setting

-Ability to work with the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students, faculty, and staff including those with disabilities

Pay Rate $14.00

Location Lakeshore

Total Hours per week 15-20

Work Schedule

Monday-Friday, anytime between 8:00am-5:30pm (flexible). Time may also be spent at extension sites, if tutoring/mentoring and on field visits. Position runs through the end of the academic year
