Description:

Position Summary

* Orders input is timely and consistent with workload demands.

* All medications and intravenous solutions dispensed are checked for accuracy and

completeness.

* All routinely-scheduled pharmaceuticals are available for administration at the scheduled

time.

* All dispensed pharmaceuticals are accurately weighed, measured, admixed, and labeled

properly.

* Monitors work progress of technicians and assesses and assigns work priorities.

* Demonstrates working knowledge of phone, CRT, and printers.

* Monitors drug usage as it relates to available supply and ensures that adequate supplies

are stocked/ordered.

* Communication, both oral and written, is specific and informative.

* Parenteral products are prepared using aseptic technique.

* All patient charges and credits are current and accurate.

* Problems and concerns are reported to Supervisor in a timely and constructive fashion.

Minimum Qualifications

* Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy.

  • Current Florida Pharmacy License
