Job Requirements:

  • An Associate's Degree.

  • 3-5 years of customer technical support in the Marine or Industrial Industry.

  • Exceptional typing skills and proficiency in Microsoft applications.

  • Problem-solving abilities and time management skills.

  • Outstanding communication skills with a professional demeanor.

  • A proactive, self-driven attitude with a commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer inquiries by phone, email, web forms, and live chat while providing prompt, reliable and courteous assistance.

  • Present, recommend, and sell products including features and benefits that maximize customer satisfaction.

  • Offer basic level troubleshooting of the product, and determine when to escalate/transfer to next level support.

  • Document customer & account interactions within a CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system.

  • Initiate and maintain quotes, orders, and customer records in company systems including processing payments and detailing shipping instructions.

  • Obtain and communicate quote/order status, shipping instructions or other order fulfillment requirements, product information, and warranty information.

  • Clearly document and process returns, exchanges, repairs, and warranty claims.

  • Take ownership of customer inquiries and see through to resolution.

  • Involve and follow-up with other departments to fulfill the customer's needs.

  • May include other duties as assigned specifically during the training and development period.
