General Job Description:

Interpretation and Translation - prior experience preferred; ability to read/write/listen/speak/translate/interpret in one or more of these language(s): French Arabic, Tagalog, Arabic, Pashtu, Dari, Urdu, Farsi, Russian, Somali, Maay, Japanese, Korean, Chinese Mandarin, Ukrainian, Taiwanese, Cantonese, Polish, Fulani, Amharic; a security clearance may be required and active security clearance is preferred.

• Must be ready, willing and able to change day-to-day work/tasks as the mission requirements at the assigned location may be fluid with lots of movement and change
• Ability to think quickly and deal with issues that may arise professionally, timely and appropriately
• Typing ability, basic computer skills, use of Windows, MS Word and MS Excel
• Conduct oneself in accordance with the local culture and customs
• Ability to function effectively and efficiently during extended periods of high pressure and stress
• Read, write, listen and speak with clear and concise grammar and pronunciation in the required foreign language(s) and English.
• Provide idiomatic (particular language or dialect) translations of material using correct structure of sentences in the required foreign language and English
• Conduct consecutive, accurate translations and interpretations of on-going conversations and activities
• Position may include, but is not limited to: document translation, work in- or out-side, verbal interpretation, audio interpretation or translation
• Position requires all employees to be available to work any hours and any days depending on mission requirements and may be in extreme, austere, harsh conditions

• Successful reference, criminal and credit screening results
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain the appropriate level of security clearance for the position
• Employment must commence within 30 days of being granted a security clearance
• Accuracy of the information provided in the Pre-Employment Packet you provided (initial forms)
• Passing of evaluations for the required language for the position you've applied for, as applicable
• Vetting by our client(s), as applicable
• Satisfactory drug screening test
• Qualified per USCENTCOM requirements to deploy as a contractor accompanying the force; i ncludes but is not limited to medical and dental reviews; t here are initial and annual requirements that must be meet
• Appropriate country clearance/visa, as applicable or required
