Description:

As a Project Manager at Frontier-Kemper, reporting to the VP of Operations, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Manage all aspects of mechanical projects from design through construction and commissioning.

  • Work closely with clients to execute large mechanical installations at industrial sites nationwide.

  • Assist with the preparation of bid proposals

  • Review bid documents and perform quantity take-offs

  • Work closely with clients to solve project challenges and identify value engineering opportunities

  • Integrate new technology and product innovations.

  • Assist with preparation of post-bid work plans, procurement, scheduling, and cost control

  • Actively participate in project tracking and post-job analysis

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Construction Management or similar

  • 5 or more years’ experience in heavy civil, mining, construction, or equipment OEM.

  • Previous experience with project management, mechanical design engineering, estimating, and/or project scheduling

  • Attention to detail with an emphasis on time management and organizational skills

  • Ability and willingness to occasionally visit sites
