The Dunbar Center is looking for a Guest Service ManagerFULL TIME / MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY / BENEFITS

The Guest Services Manager oversees customer service and recreation on a designated short stay unit or facility. This individual ensures a meaningful Guest Services program for all short stay guests that includes creative, intellectual, physical, service, social, and spiritual individual and group opportunities based on the guest's needs, interests, abilities, preferences, treatment plans and goals. The Guest Services Manager listens to what customers want, advocates for their quality of life, maintains flexibility to meet the needs of a variety of customers, and delivers on the small but important requests.

Restrictions apply based on collective bargaining agreements, applicable state law and factors such as pay classification, job grade, location, and length of service.

Position Highlights*Works with nursing center staff to resolve guest concerns.

*Coordinates and/or participates in the Partner Program to ensure successful transition of new patients into nursing center life.

*Oversees the guest discharge follow-up process.

*Assists with scheduling of patient's/resident's day to support their preferred routine; makes a printed schedule available on the day prior to guide patient and resident planning for the next day.

*Reviews the monthly and annual customer satisfaction survey process within the facility, responsible for the facility's customer satisfaction scores and response rates.

*Communicates recreation and resources available through newsletters, flyers, calendars of events, personal contact.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or higher preferred.Certified Recreational Therapy Specialist or Health Counselor desired, or two (2) years full-time experience in customer service/hospitality position.
