Heidelberg Materials is seeking a qualified Sales Representative – Recycled Construction Materials to support the Georgia Market. This position will be based in Duluth, GA and report directly to the Georgia Key Accounts Sales Rep.

What you’ll do
Targeting and acquiring new accounts by identifying new demolition and waste hauling companies in highway, commercial and residential construction markets
Building relationships with customers to create top-of-mind awareness for Heidelberg Materials products
Strengthening and growing new and existing customer relationships with demolition companies, C & D landfills/ sites, and trucking companies
Represent Heidelberg Materials at industry functions and trade shows
Effectively execute administrative duties including but not limited to reports of call, weekly activities, business justifications, and monthly reports
Service multiple sites, requiring some overnight travel. Lead continuous improvement efforts to ensure all locations operate at optimal effectiveness and efficiency
Prospect markets and secure demo and waste concrete from existing and new sources
Ensure a consistently high level of service offering to all existing and prospective customers
Identify strategic and key business opportunities within the market and ensure these opportunities are converted into new business activity
Identify and develop relationships with key prospects and decision makers of existing customers, effectively communicating Heidelberg Materials’ value and unique selling proposition and differentiators
Regularly conduct market analysis and gather market intelligence within the industry.
Identify opportunities to “add value” and contribute to the success of the customers’ businesses
Continuously network with key supplier outlets (developers, construction companies, major infrastructure and industry bodies)
Be actively involved in the preparation of annual sales budgets for the relevant territory
Develop a positive relationship with the Heidelberg Materials’ aggregate production facilities and foster a teamwork-driven environment
Build a strong safety culture & ensure compliance with all safety & environmental regulations
Assist sales staff with special projects and customer service
Essential Experience and Skills
Experience in the construction aggregates field (sand/gravel, limestone, or recycled products) or related industries such as agricultural lime, hot mix asphalt, or ready-mix concrete
A proven track record that shows sales growth
Experience in heavy building materials, asphalt, construction, or building materials distribution channels
Demonstrable high communication skills (verbal and written)
Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint, SAP a plus
Experience with CRM (such as Microsoft Dynamtics) a plus
Valid Driver’s license
Preferred Experience and Skills
• At least 3-5 years in sales role
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent experience preferred
