Insight Global Remote Voice Manager in Covington, Louisiana

Job Description

The Voice Team Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of the voice team, ensuring efficient management of phone systems and call center technologies. This role focuses on maintaining existing systems, rather than implementing new ones. The ideal candidate will have experience with analog phones, Microsoft Teams (TEAMS phones), and Cisco IPT systems. Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the voice team, including performance evaluations, coaching, and professional development.

  • Ensure team members collaborate effectively and work towards common goals.

  • Foster a positive work environment and strong relationships among team members.

  • System Maintenance and Support:

  • Oversee the maintenance, repair, and replacement of voice systems (analog phones, TEAMS phones, Cisco IPT) across field locations and corporate offices.

  • Troubleshoot issues promptly and ensure system availability.

  • Collaborate with vendors and sales departments on upgrades and new products.

  • Policy Development: Develop and implement telecommunication policies that align with business objectives.

Stay informed about developments in telecommunication technology.

Skills and Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.

  • Prior experience as a telecommunications manager or voice team lead.

  • Knowledge of networking equipment and systems.

  • Strong computer skills.
