Description

We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated NetApp Field Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for post-sales services and support, which includes installing, configuring, and maintaining NetApp storage systems at customer sites. This role demands deep expertise with NetApp technologies and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and configure turnkey NetApp high-availability systems to ensure optimal system performance.

• Perform regular onsite checks and system upgrades.

• Provide detailed planning, implementation, and closure documentation.

• Collaborate with engineers and managers to share best practices and uphold high-quality standards.

• Engage effectively with customers to deliver quality results that meet their specific program requirements.

What We're Looking For:

• Extensive experience with the installation and configuration of various NetApp platforms.

• Subject matter expert with NetApp ONTAP.

• Proficient with Clustered ONTAP, controller upgrades, FAS, AFF, and switch to switchless conversions.

• Familiar with storage protocols including NFS, SMB, FC, FCoE, and iSCSI.

• Experience working in NAS and SAN environments.

Qualifications:

• Associate Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience.

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in managing and implementing NetApp storage solutions.

• Willingness to travel extensively to client sites.

Certifications Required:

• NetApp Certified Storage Installation Engineer, ONTAP (NCSIE)

Desired Certifications:

• NetApp Certified Data Administrator, ONTAP

• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
