The University of Chicago Department of Statistics invites applications for tenured faculty positions at the rank of Associate Professor. The search is open to all areas of statistics, broadly interpreted, including theoretical and applied statistics, computation, probability, and applied mathematics.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

  • A PhD in statistics or related field.

Preferred qualifications:

  • At least three years of university-level teaching experience as an instructor of record.
  • A demonstrated track record of mentoring PhD students and/or postdoctoral researchers.
