This position is responsible for bidding public and private sector projects, performing reviews of plans and specifications, and providing estimates for a variety of projects. Once the projects are started, this position will also manage estimation/contract related items through completion. Minimum Qualifications: A successful Estimator with Knife River will have: * 2+ years estimating, project management or equivalent field experience * 2-4-year degree in Construction Management or Engineering in strongly preferred, but not required * Driver's license with acceptable driving record This position will require limited travel through Northern MN and North Dakota to visit project sites and meet with customers as necessary for preparing estimates.
