Oversee Fire Sprinkler Servicefor all types of facilities. Projects will include Industrial, Commercial and Residential. Can comprehend NFPA code, design/ installation methods, hydraulic calculations & material lists for fire sprinkler systems.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Understand design & Layout of Fire Sprinkler Systems

  • Hydraulic Calculations

  • Sprinkler/Suppression project scheduling for labor and materials

  • Orders project materials and parts

  • Insures billing and invoicing is processed in a timely manner

  • Field Surveying

  • Understand listing of system piping for fabrication

  • Coordination for installation between trades

  • Managing costs and understanding budgets

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE /QUALIFICATIONS

  • Prior fire sprinkler experience

  • Must be familiar with advanced troubleshooting techniques on existing fire pumps, dry systems, etc.

  • General mechanical knowledge

  • Experience in Fire Protection Installation and Service

  • Supervisory experience is preferred

  • Must possess a valid driver’s license

  • Proficient computer skills

ADDITIONAL PREFERRED EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS

  • NICET certification preferred but not required

  • Must work in an efficient manner

  • Demonstrated competency in verbal and written business communication skills.

  • Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license in accordance with Company guidelines

  • Successfully complete drug screen, background and reference check

  • Able to complete documentation and administrative duties as necessary; proficient in the use of personal computers and Microsoft Office

  • Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license in accordance with Company guidelines

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee manpower for quality control

TRAVEL

  • This position will rarely require travel, however travel may be required for training sessions.

Successful completion of a drug test and pre-employment background screening is required. MVR checks are required for all driving positions.
