MaineGeneral Health Food Service Associate - Glenridge (per diem in Augusta, Maine

Job Description Summary: Performs a variety of preparation, distribution, and sanitation functions in support of assigned areas.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and distribute food and beverages to patients, residents, guests, and various service areas, including special catering events.

  • Store food, beverages, and supplies in designated areas, adhering to organizational policies and procedures.

  • Engage in customer-facing roles, such as cashiering, waiting tables, delivering trays, and assisting with catering for special events.

  • Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work and food service areas, including performing dishwashing duties.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in food services is advantageous but not required.

  • ServSafe certification is preferred.

  • Must pass the Maine Background Criminal Check annually as required for MaineGeneral Health employees working at Graybirch, Glenridge, The Inn at City Hall, or the Alzheimer's Care Center.
