HOW YOU WILL DO IT Purpose Statement: Support the Quality Department by leading the operation of the Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) in validation of parts and troubleshooting of manufacturing issues. Work Hours: Open for discussion on a 5 day, 8 hours per day work week. Key Job Accountabilities: Assist Supplier Quality Engineers and Quality Engineers with trouble shooting components and manufacturing issues. Lead the generation of CMM programs for the site. Maintain computer applications required for CAD programs. Support other inspection processes within facility. Support software measurement system. Additional Accountabilities: Support User Group projects. Transfer Customer supplied CAD data and create program files. Create CAD data from spec sheets or sample when it is not customer or designer supplied. Minimal travel may be required to meet the needs of the business (estimated \<5%). Additional duties as assigned. Education/Experience Qualifications: A minimum of an Associate\'s degree in electro-mechanical, manufacturing systems, or mechanical design/drafting is preferred. One (1) year of related experience is required; Five (5) years of related experience is preferred. Experience with CMM programs is desired.
