Impact Team K, LLC, (ITK) is seeking qualified applicants for a Product Development Engineer position. ITK is a growing engineering company that specializes in new product development and process improvements for multiple clients across Northeast Michigan. ITK leverages state-of-the-art technology to drive innovative solutions on an array of products and processes to address client needs.

Responsibilities in this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Evaluation of market research
• Development of conceptual designs to address client needs
• Rapid prototype and design to meet market needs

Skills necessary of this position include:

• Broad interdisciplinary engineering experience designing/developing new products
• Exceptional communication skills
• Willing to manage multiple collaborative projects in parallel
• Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals
• Must be proactive, detail oriented, organized, and self-motivated
• Must have a passion for solving complex challenges with innovative solutions
• Willing to reimage traditional design methodologies
• Varied market experiences are strongly preferred

Applicants should have a minimum of five years of engineering experience or a bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or Process. Experience with SolidWorks, Finite Element Analysis, and Microsoft Office products is required.

Travel, mostly around Northeast Michigan, is required in this position.
